Chicken is a favorite of many people. But sometimes it can get a little boring. This dish will take care of that and have them doing a Hula dance once it hits their lips.

You can almost picture yourself sitting on a beach in Hawaii enjoying this with your favorite person on a late evening date. In fact, if my husband and I ever make it to a tropical destination, I’m going to bring my slow cooker along so I can make this simple, 3-ingredient chicken dinner! That’s right, only 3 ingredients!!!

This Hawaiian style chicken dish uses just 3 simple ingredients and is so versatile. It cooks in your slow cooker in just 3 to 4 hours. You can use any kind of BBQ sauce you like to give it your own distinctive flavor and touch. It will quickly become one of your favorite dishes when you are pressed for time. And as they say in Hawaii, Mai e `ai. This means come and eat, my friend. Well, don’t mind if I do 🙂

Donuts are a great companion to coffee. These old fashioned style ones are just perfect. They are easy to hold and bake up easily using an eclair pan. Imagine yourself sitting at your breakfast nook on a crisp and cool fall morning with one of these homemade doughnut sticks in your hand and a piping hot cup of coffee or cocoa in the other. Talk about pure bliss! Who doesn’t love donuts? Everyone loves donuts. These are the real old fashioned kind that Grandma used to make.

And since these are in stick form, they are perfect for dunking in your coffee. They will remind you of a crueler with their crusty outside and dense and chewy inside.

Can you keep a secret? I always bake a double batch of these, freeze the other half after baking and then add the glaze after thawing. It’s like having just baked a fresh batch of donuts – yum!

Everyone likes to have a little extra something for their food to give it a little zing. This condiment is a staple of southern kitchens and is easy to make. Seriously, folks, if I can master this gorgeous southern relish, anybody can! I’m a northerner for goodness sakes lol! The colors in this relish are beautiful to boot. They look amazing when preserved in a glass Mason jar.

This version of a relish called Chow Chow is a staple of southern kitchens. But you don’t need to live in the south to make and enjoy this. It’s great as a hot dog topping or incorporated into chicken salad and deviled eggs. Another thing you can do with this is whip up a nice big batch and give it a gift. Perfect as a housewarming gift or just a little something to bring when you go visit family or friends.

BBQ chicken and cornbread are a favorite among many. Now you can combine these two into a pie that will quickly become a family favorite on your table. It would be perfect for a party, picnic or a potluck type of event.

I made this delicious BBQ cornbread and chicken pie one night when we had the inlaws over for dinner. My mother-n-law even complimented me on my cooking skills. can you believe that? I was floored! I looked at my husband and said, “Yep, this recipe is definitely a keeper!”

Whip this pie up in about 40 minutes and you can serve it by itself for a tasty dinner. Or serve it along with a side salad or some sliced cucumbers. Either way, you decide, you can’t go wrong since this will be gobbled up pretty fast.

Using just 6 ingredients, you can make a mini version of banana cream pie in no time at all. Who doesn’t love banana cream pie? Everyone does! So whip this up and everyone can have their own little bitty pie. You know how you would sometimes love a dessert, but nothing too heavy? This recipe solves that problem! Your dinner guests will love them and your grandkids will make a request for these with each visit. I have also frozen these mini banana cream pies and they turned out like tiny little ice cream treats! Super yummy, and perfect for cooling off with on a hot, summer day!

Banana cream pie is a favorite dessert of so many. It brings back memories of childhood summers when mom would be in the kitchen making dessert for that night. Now you can make a mini version that uses a favorite cookie as the crust. And everyone gets their own little bitty bite size “pie.”

Serve this delicious cake at your next luncheon or family get together and it will become a favorite. This cake was very popular back when families still ate dinner together at the kitchen table.

It was also popular at informal get-togethers such as potlucks or card games. What I wouldn’t give to have lived back then. I swear I think I might have been born in the wrong time era lol! I would love to have nothing more than a card came with friends and slice of frosted banana cake to look forward to on a Saturday night. How about you?

Mom used to make this cake and serve it for desert. She always bought bananas specifically for this cake and let them fully ripen before she used them. And the frosting was so good that she always let us lick the bowl clean. Sometimes she would even make a little extra if we were behaving that day.

Quick Tip: Be sure to use well-ripened bananas. You can speed up the ripening process by placing the bananas in a paper bag with a few apple slices.

3-Ingredient Cheesecake That Will Blow Your Taste Buds Away

Cheesecake is a favorite of so many. I mean what’s not to like about it? It’s creamy, cool and oh so heavenly. This recipe uses only 3 ingredients to whip up a mouthwatering delicious and light dessert. Much lighter that a regular cheesecake and perfect for a summer treat. You will find yourself whipping this up one a regular basis because it’s just so easy to make. Cheesecake is one of the most popular desserts in the world. But it can be so rich and heavy.

Most of us take just a small slice of it because of this. Now you can serve this mini size version that tastes just as good but is not as rich. This would go over very well at a bridal shower, baby shower, book club meeting or summer barbecue.

I bet the ladies at the church picnic would absolutely devour these. Or just make a batch because you deserve a tasty treat.
