The other day I sat back and thought of the reasons I love Fall, and not just because it’s a heat index of 110° down south!

One of them was pumpkin flavors. I love it in my coffee and especially in my desserts. I thought, why not make a pumpkin treat today? So I picked up a can of pumpkin and the rest of the ingredients for this amazing looking Pumpkin Cheese Coffee Cake. The moment I smelled it baking I knew I’d made a smart decision. I’m not one to limit my food choices to the season. I like to live it up on a whim! Join me in trying this amazing coffee cake that has the perfect balance of cream cheese topping cut through the batter and baked right in, delish!

When it comes to fall desserts you can never have too many. I love pumpkin pie but I find that dessert to get boring and repetitive, especially during the Thanksgiving season. So, coming across recipes like this pumpkin cream cheese coffee cake is pretty awesome!

When it comes to holiday dinners, I’m all for doing it up big.

I love tradition, I love family gathered around a set holiday table, and I love making classic foods. My menu is always packed with traditional Thanksgiving dinner dishes such as turkey, stuffing, potatoes, green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie.

What does your Thanksgiving dinner consist of? People think I’m a little weird because I start planning for my next Thanksgiving dinner right after New Year. What can I say? I want to serve the most delicious dishes, and I want to be able to cook and try all of them before the Big Day!

This year, I am going to try something a bit different in terms of dessert and make a pumpkin meringue pie instead of the traditional recipe. After I took one look at this pie on The Pioneer Woman’s website, I was completely sold. Such a gorgeous dessert! It doesn’t even look like food, it looks like art. Food art!

Quick Tip: This pie is so pretty it can double as a centerpiece for your table. Just don’t leave it out of the fridge for too long though as it will spoil.

I don’t know about you guys and gals, but Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.

I love decorating with spooky props and whatnot, handing out candy, seeing kids in their costumes, and baking up scary-good treats. But most of all, I love the theme food people are often serving at that time of year!

Last Halloween I made these incredible cookies that turned out so pretty, I knew I had to make them again soon. Who cares if Halloween is months away? Your kids are going to gobble these up, anyway!

These pumpkin cookies are delicious and they would make a great gift for friends and family. There is no need to feel intimidated by how professional these cookies are decorated. I know the picture looks pretty amazing.

There are many cookie decorating templates available to help you along. These cookies taste like spiced pumpkin to top it all off!

Who here is in the mood to get their pumpkin binge on?

As soon as the calendar rolls over to September, I start getting giddy. Yes, I am one of those crazy-about-pumpkin people and I’m not ashamed to say it!

I’ll drink pumpkin spice coffee with pumpkin spice creamer while nibbling on a pumpkin spice muffin. That’s why this cake is so awesome. It is everything that a pumpkin sheet cake should be plus the homemade cream cheese frosting.

Does it really get better than that, folks? I think, not. The best part about this pumpkin sheet cake is hands down, the homemade cream cheese frosting. It is way batter than anything you can buy at the grocery store.

And guess what? It’s super easy to make, too! Actually, this entire cake is overwhelmingly easy to make and it feeds an army of hungry cake eaters.

Quick Tip: I have used many different brands of pureed pumpkin, even organic, and the best so far has always been Libby’s.

If you’re anything like me, you love a good brownie recipe.

This brownie recipe is extra-special because it includes cream cheese, peanut butter, and toffee. Now, is there really any flavor combination that is better than that?

Nope, not really. These little treats are like the kings of the brownie world. There is everything we all love included in this recipe. I made these once for my son’s school class during a fall party and all of the children loved them.

It was definitely a huge hit! If you were to make these brownies, would you keep them for yourself or share them with friends? I have made a double batch of these luscious little things before because I know how fast they tend to go.

You can make a larger batch than what is described below but I do not recommend freezing them as the cream cheese tends to do weird things when frozen.

I have very fond memories of childhood on my grandma’s farm.

She would always be baking something, and I was her official taste-tester. I loved it when she made me her famous apple cinnamon raisin swirl bread.

I love toasting this bread and smearing it with butter or apple butter in the morning for breakfast while I enjoy my steaming hot cup of coffee. It also pairs well with hot cocoa or tea. Whatever floats your boat!

There’s nothing like fresh cream butter smeared across a piping hot slice of homemade raisin bread. Grandma would sip on her coffee as she ate hers and I’d sip on my hot chocolate. Such a wonderful memory!

Food tends to do that to people, help them reminisce about days gone by. Did your grandma or mother have a special recipe that she made with you? Mine would definitely be this cinnamon raisin bread. You’re going to love making this! This recipe is easily going to become your go-t0 sweet bread recipe, for sure 🙂

Every year I am faced with the same dilemma.

I buy a gigantic sized turkey and I’m left with a buttload of leftovers. Yes, I give some to my family to take home with them but there are still scads of leftovers. So, what’s a girl to do? I mean, the fridge is already packed full of all kinds of desserts and side dishes at this point. Aha! I will make leftover turkey casserole.

How yummy! Have you ever tried this recipe? It is to die for. Another little gem about leftover turkey casserole is how easy it is to make.

All you are doing is layering foods that have already been cooked in a baking dish and then reheating them in your oven. However, when they are all mixed together in a hot and bubbly casserole magical things begin to happen such as your taste buds throwing a festival in your mouth. You’ll see 🙂

Quick Tip: You can freeze this casserole for a later time if need be.
