My neighbor, Sally came over the other day with a dish in her hand and asked me o please taste test the contents. I looked at it and saw bacon so without further ado I scooped up a healthy mouthful onto a cracker. You don’t gotta ask me twice when bacon is involved. Wow! Was this dip ever good! Sally said it was called BLT Dip and she got the recipe from a friend of a friend.

I, of course, had to make this delicious dip for myself because it was so amazing. So, I decided to find a recipe here on the internet that I could share with all of you. Seriously, you guys and gals are going to love this one. it reminds me so much of the sandwich! I absolutely love it.

Bacon Lettuce, BLT, BLT Dip, Iceberg Lettuce, Sun-dried tomatoes

Who doesn’t love a fresh BLT?  With crisp smoky bacon, warm toasted bread, fresh lettuce, and juicy ripe tomatoes.  So why not transfer those flavor profiles to an inventive dip that a whole party can enjoy?

This dessert is ready in 30 minutes and serves about 8 people.  Top with a dollop of sour cream, if you’d like and serve with corn chips, pita, or a crispy baguette.
