Best Slow Cooker Recipes, #1
How about waking up to a crockpot full of warm healthy oatmeal. Serve this wonderful breakfast up and you and your family will not be sorry! It fuels you to get through work, school, and your afternoon workout with ease.
I don’t even find myself hungry between breakfast and lunch like I usually do which is great. Otherwise, I find myself munching on unhealthy snacks or vending machine goodies.
It also makes me feel great to send my family off to work and school completely satisfied. You know that this is brain food with hearty grains and served with nuts and fruit.
Ingredients
Pam cooking spray
2 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup steel cut oats
8 cups water
3 cups McArthur milk
4 Tbsp Land O Lakes butter
1/2 cup Domino brown sugar
pinch of salt
your favorite fruit and nuts for serving

Spray the insides of a 6 qt crock pot with nonstick spray. Pour in the oats. Add the milk, butter, sugar and pinch of salt.
