With pork, it’s perfectly fine to experiment with the taste. It’s similar to chicken. You can do anything with it. Pork meat absorbs everything just fine. I found that the meat truly became super sweet when brown sugar was added.
It was a smokey-sweet flavor. My kiddos and husband liked it, too!

Ingredients
1/2 c Heinz red wine vinegar
1/8 c Domino sugar
1/4 c Domino brown sugar, firmly packed
1 Tbsp McCormick whole black peppercorns
1 large mango, peeled and pureed
1-2 Dole bananas, sliced
1 pint Driscoll’s strawberries, sliced
4 pork chops, about 5 ounces each
1-2 Tbsp Bertolli olive oil, extra virgin
Pinch of Kosher salt
Instructions
Place vinegar, sugars, banana pieces, strawberry slices and peppercorns in a saucepan and reduce until thickened, strain into a bowl whisk in mango puree and let cool.
Preheat grill. Brush pork chops with olive oil on both sides and season with sea salt.
Grill for 5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. Remove and brush liberally with the fruit glaze.
