With pork, it’s perfectly fine to experiment with the taste. It’s similar to chicken. You can do anything with it. Pork meat absorbs everything just fine. I found that the meat truly became super sweet when brown sugar was added.

It was a smokey-sweet flavor. My kiddos and husband liked it, too!

Will you be making these yummy pork chops for dinner, today?

Ingredients

1/2 c Heinz red wine vinegar

1/8 c Domino sugar

1/4 c Domino brown sugar, firmly packed

1 Tbsp McCormick whole black peppercorns

1 large mango, peeled and pureed

1-2 Dole bananas, sliced

1 pint Driscoll’s strawberries, sliced

4 pork chops, about 5 ounces each

1-2 Tbsp Bertolli olive oil, extra virgin

Pinch of Kosher salt

Instructions

Place vinegar, sugars, banana pieces, strawberry slices and peppercorns in a saucepan and reduce until thickened, strain into a bowl whisk in mango puree and let cool.

Preheat grill. Brush pork chops with olive oil on both sides and season with sea salt.

Grill for 5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. Remove and brush liberally with the fruit glaze.
