The nice thing for me about the kids choosing Grandma’s is not only the comfort for me, but also the not having to worry about cooking or cleaning of any type. My mom would take care of it all. She lived for the days that we came to visit. Now that she was all on her own, I don’t think it took much for her to get lonely. I felt that she was starting to get depressed while we were eating that morning, so I suggested that she move back to live closer to us. She thought that was a fine idea and asked that we start looking for a place for her. That means I get to eat this tasty casserole even more often!
Now that sounds like a good way to enjoy the weekend!
