Do you ever have those moments when you look in the kitchen and start feeling like Old Mother Hubbard? I know that it happens to me a least a couple of times a month. I look through all the cupboards and the fridge only to come up with a few things that I have no idea how to combine into something edible, and more importantly, something that the family is going to enjoy. Those are the days when I usually resort to ordering take-out or delivery pizza. I don’t always feel proud of it, but I don’t like trying to make something out of nothing either. The family loves fast food anyways so I never hear any moans and groans.
I never hear any complaints when I make this hamburger casserole from Group Recipes either. One day when I was looking for something to do with hamburger, this little beauty popped up in my radar. I just happened to have everything I needed to make it right in the house already.
These are simple ingredients to keep on hand at all times, so instead of ordering takeout, I’ll just whip one of these up instead. It’s almost like a deep dish pizza, but a lot easier!
