I wanted to have a bunch of the ladies over from my church group for a luncheon one day so that we could discuss some upcoming events. I have a bit of an organizational issues, and I can’t settle down until I have everything figured out just perfectly. It can be a pain at times to live with this kind of personality, but I’ve come to terms with the fact of that’s just who I am. Most of these ladies understand it, and they are thankful that I take the reins and put everything in order for them. It sure does make everything flow a lot more nicely. If there are ever any questions about an upcoming event, meeting, or fundraiser, they know where to turn. That’s reassuring for everyone involved.
I sometimes would bribe the ladies with lunch, just so that I could be certain that they would all show up. I think they all would anyways. At least I hope that they would, unless of course they had something that was conflicting in their schedule that wouldn’t allow them to.
So, the last time that they came, I made a yummy chicken salad recipe that I had found on Spend With Pennies. It was really easy to put together, and the end result was amazing. Everyone loved it. All the ladies were thankful they came for a day of planning that day I’m sure!
