Why I Love This Casserole (And You Will, Too)
When you find yourself having a free day, what do you usually do? Some of my friends spend their entire day baking in their kitchens (I always have a box of sweets from any of them). Some of them just lie around and totally allow themselves to relax. I am more of the latter. I give more than a hundred percent of my time and effort during the weekdays that I always consider my weekends basically my free days. Free days meaning I can spend my time the way I want to; and usually, that means spending time with my family without worrying about anything.
During these days, I love to cook something tasty and easy for the family. Usually, that happens to be a casserole. I just put everything I can find together in one dish and we’ll have a good meal by the end of the day.
This easy chicken tamale recipe is a recent favorite. My husband fell in love with this recipe the moment he tasted this. I had to omit a few of the ingredients to replace them with something that my children could eat.
This is actually a pretty versatile recipe. You can adapt this recipe and adjust the ingredients based on your family’s preferences.
