Check out what my pals over at Group Recipes had to say about this recipe:
“I found this on Facebook and am so glad that I did!”
I’m glad you did, too! This recipe is awesome.
Ingredients
1 stick Land O Lakes butter or margarine (used 1/2 stick)
1 small head of cabbage, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 pound Hormel smoked sausage (used turkey)
1 can (15 ounce) Hunt’s diced tomatoes or Rotel tomatoes (I drained the juice)
1/2 teaspoon Morton salt
1/2 teaspoon McCormick pepper
Instructions
Melt butter in a large skillet (I boiled the cabbage, onion and sausage for half hour).Add cabbage, onion, sausage and cook on medium high heat for about 5 minutes stirring to keep from sticking to the pan (I let it go to golden brown on the cabbage).Add the tomatoes and season with salt and pepper, cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.Makes about 8 servings.Only 4 g net carbs per serving.

Quick Tip: This recipe says you can use margarine but real butter is so much better.
