I love ethnic foods! I’m always trying things from Africa, Europe and of course, India. I love masala and this recipe features that telltale flavor. Don’t let the long list of ingredients scare you, it’s really simple to make and the simmering scent will make you drool as it cooks. I served this over some Jasmine rice and everyone loved it. There were zero leftovers and I even doubled the recipe – so it’s obvious it was a hit.
You’ll enjoy the unique flavors that include chili powder, cumin and garam masala. The tomato based sauce is just perfect and the use of chicken thighs means that the meat will be extra tender. I promise this is destined to be a favorite. I think it’d work out great in the slow cooker, too.
