So when my son walks into the kitchen to see me finishing up the cupcakes, and sees the Reese’s cut in half he says, “My heart just stopped.” It was adorable! I had him help me place them on top until they were finished. Then I just put them on a plate and looked at him.
Finally, he broke the silence, “So, um, can I have one?” I cracked up laughing. I told him of course, and he devoured it. I don’t even think he left any crumbs. He said, “Mom, you HAVE to make these again.” I said let’s finish the last 11 first.
Ingredients
1/4 cup REESE’S Creamy Peanut Butter
2 tablespoons shortening
1/2 cup packed Domino light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 Eggland’s Best egg
3/4 cup Gold Medal all-purpose flour
1-1/4 teaspoons Clabber Girl baking powder
1/8 teaspoon Morton salt
2/3 cup TruMoo milk
1-1/3 cups (8-oz. pkg.) REESE’S Peanut Butter Cups Minis , divided
