My kids are like me, probably because I never forced the banana issue on them (they’ve been offered them, but never ate them). They like banana flavored items, like my mother in law’s banana pudding, but just have never cared for bananas themselves.
When I made these, they were skeptical given that I was buying bananas, but once I combined and baked everything, they were willing to give it try. Upon seeing my 3 year old’s messy smile, I knew I’d found a winner.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups C&H granulated sugar
1 cup Daisy sour cream
1/2 cup Land O Lakes butter, softened to room temperature
2 Eggland’s Best eggs
3 ripe bananas
2 teaspoons McCormick vanilla flavor
2 cups Gold Medal all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Arm & Hammer baking soda
1/4 teaspoon Morton salt

Quick Tip: You can sprinkle on mini chocolate chips at the end if you want a little chocolately goodness!
