You know the secret to cooking a perfect potato? A slow cooker. There is nothing quite like a slow cooker to cook up a potato on low heat over a long amount of time to really impress me. I love a good slow cooker recipe, but when it involves potatoes? I love it even more! I always have a hard time figuring out exactly how to make potatoes in the slow cooker. Should I wrap them in foil or not? Should I line the crock pot or not?This recipe answers all my questions and makes it so easy.
All I have to do is cut the potatoes in chunks and layer all the goodness I want to cook with it over all the chunks and I will have the perfect slow cooker potato in no time (feel free to cook it whole as well, but this makes it cook a tad faster). Do not worry about how you are going to serve these or with what toppings.
You already pour all the toppings over this while they cook. The only extra thing might be to add some sour cream when they come out. However you choose to serve it, this is delicious!
