I can’t get enough of pecan pie. It’s totally indulgent, especially with a dollop of homemade whipped topping. Some prefer ice cream, and that’s fine too but my mom has long served it with the whipped topping. I love that rich, nutty taste and the buttery and flakey crust. There is nothing quite like it! We usually had one at Thanksgiving, and Christmas along with a couple pumpkin pies and maybe an apple pie. The pecan was always my favorite.

This recipe is almost exactly like the one my mom made, and I am picky when it comes to my pecan pie. I suggest you make a couple of these, because they’ll be gone faster than you can say, “Gimmie some sugar darlin’!”

I adore brownies, who doesn’t? I love them in a variety of ways… on their own of course, in ice cream, mixed with cheesecake, and frosted. The list goes on and on. When I came across this version that is no bake I was ecstatic! No one wants to fire up the oven in the heat of summer, and everyone loves a quick and simple recipe any time of year. Even better, there are only 7 ingredients in this recipe. That means you can whip it up in no time flat.

It’s even easy for kids to help out. Honestly, the hardest part of this recipe is the need to wait at least 2 hours before you can dig in! I suggest going shopping, or anywhere out of the house in order to not dig in too soon. Trust me, these guys are worth the wait. My entire family was in chocolate heaven and with very minimal effort.

Kale is all over recipe websites and in health food stores, and the news. It is perhaps the most sought after leafy green on the market today. This is because it is packed with vitamins and powers your body to get through whatever the day has in store. This amazing salad calls for giving it a rub down, but wait… what? That’s definitely no way I’ve ever prepared a salad before.

Massaged kale salad is all the rage as of late. Haven’t had it? You are truly missing out. My entire family enjoyed this salad and its dressed in a honey-lemon-olive oil dressing and adorned with toasted pepitas (pumpkin seeds) and mango chunks. It is the most stunning flavor combination you’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Give it a try and see what you think! I promise it’s a delicious and power packed side that will be popular with most of your crew.

Quick Tip: If you don’t have mango, other fruits may work. Try another tropical fruit.
