I am a HUGE fan of bread. Any kind of bread will set my soul on fire with hunger pains. I love white, wheat, rye, rolls, biscuits, and best of all: homemade Amish sweet bread. The first time I had this bread was when I was passing through Lancaster County, PA. I stopped at an Amish pie shop and ended up leaving with four loaves of bread. And guess how long those loaves of bread lasted in my house? Not even 5 days!

After my bread was gone, I was a little downtrodden. I really liked that bread! So, you can imagine my delight when I found this helpful little recipe for Amish sweet bread! And guess what, folks? It’s super easy to make! If you can knead dough for at least 10 minutes, you can make this wonderful bread and have it turn out like you’re a professional baker. I have gotten so good at making bread I think i should open up my own bakery. Okay, maybe that is pushing the envelope a little haha!

Quick Tip: Allow your oven to warm, turn off the heat, and let your dough rise in there. It’ll shorten the wait time!
