Pillow pizza is one of the easiest pizza recipes I’ve ever made. I love how the spaghetti sauce tastes in this recipe versus pizza sauce.
Check out what my pal Erin from the Making Memories With Your Kids food blog had to say about this recipe:
I get the idea of why this is called pillow pizza but it’s not really pizza is it? It has spaghetti sauce and hamburger in it. I don’t eat spaghetti sauce and hamburger with my pizza. Hmmm… So maybe Pillow Spaghetti? Nah, that doesn’t sound as good. I’ll have to think about this for awhile.
I think this pizza creation has a fun name! My entire family really enjoyed this recipe. Thanks, Erin!
Ingredients
2 tubes of Pillsbury refrigerated biscuits (10 biscuits a tube)
1 pound hamburger
3 – 4 cups Kraft shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cups Newman’s Own spaghetti sauce
Instructions
Cut the biscuits into quarters and lay on the bottom of a lightly greased 9×13 pan.
Sprinkle with 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.
Cook hamburger. Drain. Add spaghetti sauce.
Add hamburger mixture over cheese layer.
Add any other pizza toppings you would like. We opted to add none. Top with remaining cheese.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
