Although these look absolutely awesome as they are, I am dying to make my own cookie dough so I can mix some food coloring in there!
Wouldn’t it be amazing to serve these in green, blue or purple? Or maybe just make a really dark chocolate cookie. The possibilities are endless and I think I’m going to have to make a few test batches before I decide on the final color! These are super easy to make so you can bring your kids or grandkids along.
Ingredients
chocolate chip cookies (homemade or store bought)
1 can vanilla frosting
red food coloring
mini marshmallows
slivered almonds
Ingredients
Add a few drops of red food coloring into vanilla frosting and stir until smooth. Spread a thin layer of red frosting onto each cookie half.
Place mini marshmallows around the round edges of half of the halves. Place the remaining halves on top, then stick a slivered almond on each side to create fangs.

Quick tip: Make sure you let the cookies cool completely before you start decorating them.
