Madeline is the president of the homeowner’s association in our village.
She is a 65-year-old regal lady that’s very friendly to everyone. She often holds parties in her house. And since she is quite a cool grandma, even the younger generation always goes to her parties. It helps that she is such a good cook too. No one will dare miss the food that she always prepares. Her most popular ones though are probably her desserts. Your night will not be complete if you haven’t tasted all of the things on her dessert table.
It’s a huge table even. You can find all sorts in there—cupcakes, brownies, bars, cakes, donuts, and even homemade candies. During the last party in her house, she served something that caught my attention.
It caught my attention so much that I was able to eat two slices of it. She has this sort of cheesecake that’s a bit chocolatey at the same time. It’s as if it’s s chocolate cake and a cheesecake in one dessert.
I found out a week later that it’s called a brownie cheesecake. It was an experiment. She just decided to combine brownies and cheesecake. I found a similar recipe that tastes as good as hers, probably even better. You can find it on the next page of this entry.
