My Favorite, Old-Fashioned Treat!
One of the best memories I have with my mom is when she took me the movie theater for the first time when I was little. My sisters came along, too. Anyway, my mom is very frugal…ok, she’s a cheapskate haha! She wasn’t going to pay those movie theater prices for snacks that we could just bring ourselves for a fraction of the price. My mother must have smuggled a case of soda, popcorn, candy, and probably a roast beef dinner in her purse. LOL we had so much fun! My dad just shook his head at her. Mom always made good times even better with her crazy antics.
The recipe on the next page is a very simple yet delicious caramel corn recipe that you can make and smuggle into the movie theater yourself 🙂
