This is my meatloaf recipe that I have been using for years. Wonderful!
I use this recipe (but I never measure) but I substitute chunky salsa for tomato sauce…try it!
Heavenly easy fun to make tried and true a real heavenly delight. Enjoy but add 1 tsp of whisteshirer sauce.1 tbsp red wine thats the ticket.
What does the red chili flakes do. Is there a substitute, or can be omitted?
They just give it a bit of spicy flavor. You could definitely omit.
yummm like getting new things to try
Would love to have recipe.
I use Campbell’s Tomato soup instead of juice.
Each of us have our own favorite meatloaf recipe. I’ve been using the same basic one for years. Sometimes I pat it out into a big square, cover the square with any combination of ingredients I like ie: mushrooms and caramelized onions, shredded cheese, any combination of the veggies and cheese, salsa and peppers, just about anything you want. Roll up, cover with your favorite sauce, then bake at 350` for 60 to 90 minutes. Let cool before cutting.
This is my recipe that I always make. Except I use bbq sauce, and Lipton onion soup.I will try yours this time.
I don’t like oats in my meatloaf. Any substitute besides bread crumbs???
White soda crackers
Use stovetop stuffing, much better and much additional flavor
I add carrots
