What I think makes apple crumble pie so good is the simpleness of it.
It only has a few basic ingredients that can be found in every household and that is exactly why it’s so good. I think anyone can make this recipe. It only takes 30 minutes to prep and 40 minutes to cook. There’s no extra to it. It’s just a very yummy traditional treat that the whole family loves!
Ingredients:
1 (9 inch) deep dish pie crust
5 cups apples – peeled, cored and thinly sliced
1/2 cup Domino sugar
3/4 teaspoon McCormick ground cinnamon
1/3 cup Domino sugar
3/4 cup Gold Medal flour
6 Tbsp Land O’ Lakes butter
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C.)
Arrange apple slices in unbaked pie shell. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
Mix 1/3 cup sugar with flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Spoon mixture over apples.
Bake in preheated oven until apples are soft and top is lightly browned, about 40 minutes.
