If you are looking to make a romantic dinner for you and your beloved this is the meal to make! It is so perfect, words cannot even describe its amazingness.
Check out what my friends over at The Pioneer Woman had to say about this recipe:
“Good steaks do not need sauce. But they’re every bit as delicious with a good sauce as they are on their own. And as much steak as we eat in our household, I like to change things up. This sauce is actually almost a “side dish”—substantial and delicious.“
Seriously, I would totally eat the sauce as a side dish. It is THAT good.
Ingredients
2 whole Ribeye Steaks
2 Tablespoons Land O Lakes Butter
Morton Salt
McCormick Pepper
4 Tablespoons Butter
1 whole Very Large Yellow Onion, Sliced
1 cup Borden Heavy Cream
1/2 cup Crumbled Blue Cheese
Instructions
Salt and pepper both sides of the steaks. Grill in 2 tablespoons butter until medium rare.
Saute onions in 4 tablespoons butter over high heat. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until dark and caramelized. Reduce heat to simmer and pour in cream. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until reduced by half. Stir in blue cheese until melted. Serve steaks with a generous portion of sauce.
