The other day my daughter and I were talking about desserts that I used to make when she was a teeny tiny little girl. She’s only 15, but you know how that goes, they think they are women of the world at that age haha! Anyway, my girl asked me if I would have a treat ready for her and her brothers after they got home from school like I used to in the past. I told her that I’d think of something. I missed those days of baking and sending most of my time in the kitchen. I now work from home and I don’t get to do leisurely baking as much as I used too.
I hopped the internet to find an easy and yummy treat to surprise my kiddos with after school. I came across this delightful recipe for peanut butter chocolate honey bars. I was sold! These bars look so stinkin’ good! I hope I contain myself until the kids get home. It wouldn’t be nice to have them walk into the kitchen eager for a snack and see the remnants of cookies bars smeared on a pan lol!
