Looking For a Quick Treat and Easy Way to Use Up Those Old Bananas? Fire Up Your Oven or Grill! These are Bound to be a New Favorite
I’ve always been a fan of bananas but not raw for some strange reason. I love bananas flambé, or baked in cookies, bread and other baked goods. When I found this easy way to cook them up and use them in things like ice cream I was sold! I had a few overripe bananas just screaming to be made this way and so I got to it!
I actually made these right before my husband got home from work. His eyes lit up when he saw them topped with ice cream. He actually asked where dinner was and I informed him we were having dessert first! This is how we roll! He was all for it and dug in. I topped ours with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and then sprinkled a little more cinnamon on top. I think they’d be awesome with a drizzle of caramel – next time that’s my plan! Next time is tomorrow!
