It has never been this easy to make a delish dessert!

I have always made this peanut and chocolate treat during the holidays, just like my mom did. It’s extremely easy to make and popular with everyone.

When you’re craving something sweet and salty nothing does the trick like this. I’ve even made it, cut it in very small cubes and put it in paper bags, then snuck it into the movie theater – no lie! It’s the absolute best and if you dump it in your popcorn bucket you’ll likely pass out from happiness, and then you may miss the movie so snack carefully my friends! While that was a bit overboard it’s true how addictive and satisfying this “krispy” treat is!

You’ll only need a handful of ingredients for this yummy dessert! Your friends and family will dig in and be more than impressed. Everyone thinks that candies are so difficult to make but truthfully they are not. Give it a try! It’ll be your go to snack forever.

This is the perfect thing to bring to a potluck or a picnic. While these are small bites, they pack plenty of energy so they are great for those moments when you need to rush out of the house, feeling hungry. Just grab a couple of these with you and you’re good to go!

What a great idea for any party or family gathering! I think, if I had been introduced to the great flavor of pumpkin this way, I would have warmed up to the idea of pumpkin-based desserts a lot sooner than I did. And hey, you only need half a dozen ingredients to make these festive, low-hassle treats. There is no doubt in my mind that I will be making these again. I brought these to my nextdoor neighbor’s daughter’s birthday party, and soon all the Moms were begging for the recipe!

Quick tip: Let the pumpkin puree dry on a cloth before adding it – this way you’ll make sure the treats won’t turn out too moist.

This Rice Krispies Ice Cream Sandwich is a nice combination of two sweet snacks loved by children (and children at heart) of all ages.  Who doesn’t love that nice blend of sweet, creamy, and crunchy? This is the perfect treat for all the people who like a bit of sweetness in their lives every now and then, but don’t always have the time to fix something up. Just make this ahead and leave it in the freezer!

I had plenty of Rice Krispies treats growing up, and more than my fair share of ice cream sandwiches, but I never had the two put together. I don’t know why, since the combination seems like an obvious winner! That is a great part of working with food, though:  I get to sample things that I otherwise might not have the excuse to make.  I think that you and your children will love these – I certainly did!
