You May Never Go Back To Ordinary Pizza Again

I’ve always been a big fan of mixing and matching all kinds of things. Clothing, cross-over music, green eye-shadow with blue mascara… ok, let’s not go there.

I know “the youngsters” are really into all kinds of 80’s stuff but I’ve done it once and I’d rather leave it at that. Back to mixing and matching but let’s talk about food!

I love different cultures and especially the variety of dishes people make all over the world. I’ve often thought, I wish there was a way to combine the best of the best, and turn them into the ultimate meal! Well, who says you can’t do it? This recipe sure does it in the tastiest way possible! Ladies and gents, these pizza-dillas are amazing. They are exactly what you need in your life right now, and you don’t have to worry about your calorie intake since these are pretty lean, believe it or not!

Two Favorites in One Scrumptious Meal

cheese, dinner, easy recipe, entree, ground beef, main course, main dish, McCormick, quesadilla, taco

Tacos are one of those meals that are quick and easy to put together. They are always packed with fresh ingredients – lettuce, tomatoes, pico de gallo and onions – and have a fresh flavor that is perfect for a quick and easy meal. Quesadillas are another one of those things that are quick and easy to make. So why not combine the two into something really amazing?

Luckily for us, Ree Drummond, over at The Pionneer Woman Cooks, has done just that. She’s combined two delicious menu items into one – Taco Quesadillas. And are they ever amazing. Richly seasoned taco meat with rich cheese and topped with fresh and spicy pico de gallo. These quesadillas are just as quick to put together as tacos, but they give a whole new twist to an old favorite. Ree makes a really simple and delicious meal. Add all the fresh sides you can and you’ve got a “one dish” meal that’s new and refreshing!

We’ve all had a good chicken and cheese quesadilla at least once in our lives, and boy are they good! How about stuffing your tortilla with bacon, egg, and cheese? Now THAT is something to try!

Why haven’t I ever thought of this before!? I’m sure you’ve had breakfast burritos before, but a breakfast quesadilla? Yup, I’m making this ASAP! No need for a quesadilla maker, you can make these right in a frying pan. Top these with some salsa and you are in for one delicious morning meal.
