How To Take The Easy Road And End Up With This Amazing Entree

When it comes to Thanksgiving you gotta have a turkey, right? Wrong! You can have a ham, too! However, I prefer making this pineapple glazed ham on Christmas.

My husband’s side of the family loves eating ham so this recipe is the perfect choice. It’s sweet, easy to make, and everyone loves it. Although the recipe doesn’t call for them, I enjoy decorating the ham with maraschino cherries. I just love those little red things!

I have pinned pineapple rings and placed cherries in their centers with toothpicks. The design was so cute! It was a shame when I had to remove them so people could eat the ham haha!

Anyway, if you’re looking for an easy entree for the holidays I’d definitely choose making this ham. It’s really simple because the ham is pre-cooked so basically all you are doing is re-warming it with the special pineapple glaze. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!

Bring Back The Vacay Mood Without Even Leaving Your Kitchen!

I remember when I first landed on the beautiful island of Maui and stepped out of the airplane with my husband. All those exotic scents and flavors lingering in the air when we walked in the airport lobby… I knew immediately that this was a place I would have to return to, some day. You could feel the aloha, and that’s something I haven’t been able to explain clearly to anyone.

It was and still is the best vacation ever; the people were amazing and friendly, the weather was incredible, and the food! Oh yes, the food was to die for. I soon lost count of how many restaurants we tried, every one of them better than the last one. Whatever you wanted to eat, they had just the right place for it!

I often feel like bringing back those memories and flavors so I’ve collected a bunch of Hawaiian style recipes. This Hawaiian chicken is one of my favorites; it’s super easy to make, and it’s absolutely mouthwatering.

Chicken This Tasty Must Be Illegal!

If there’s one thing I’m grateful for, it’s that I have been fortunate enough to visit Hawaii. It took a lot of planning and saving but it was so worth it! What I’ve noticed later on is that it’s impossible to explain the aloha to someone who hasn’t been there to experience it. I guess you could say it’s every single positive thing you can think of put together, multiplied with love and then divided by the amount of people living on the islands. I’ve never felt so welcome and so at home before, or since, during my travels.

However, there is another thing about Hawaii that I can make people understand, and that’s food. Oh my goodness, it’s so delicious! Hawaiian cuisine, just like the people living there, is a mixture of different cultures and tropical flavors. The ingredients are fresh and tasty, and every meal makes you feel like it’s the best thing you’ve ever had in your entire life. That’s why I had such high hopes for this recipe – and I certainly wasn’t disappointed when I tried it!

This Stuff Just Melts In Your Mouth

I thought I already had the perfect glazed ham recipe. It was a very traditional one that I got from my aunt years ago – and I do still love it! But I wanted to find something tasty to go with the sandwiches I was planning to make for a get-together with friends, and luckily my mother told me she had just the right recipe for me. It looked way too delicious to pass! So I gave it a go, thinking I would still have time to cook another one with my aunt’s recipe if this turned out to be a disaster.

I think I was half way through cooking when I already realized I had hit the jackpot with this one. The whole house smelled so delicious I was afraid the neighbors would come knocking at the door, asking if they could have a taste of whatever it was I was cooking!

That glaze is just amazing and my husband said this is going straight to his all-time favorites. I’m glad he feels this way as it always feels good to receive a compliment from him, especially when it is about my cooking 🙂
