We all know Philadelphia is known for their scrumptious cheese steaks. Meanwhile Italian’s are known for their oh-so-cheesy calzones. Why not combine the two for a delectable-duo of flavors that’ll be an absolute hit at any dinner party? Re-create your favorite flavors in your cheesy cheese steak easily at home with this calzone-style version.

Use a package of Pillsbury refrigerated pizza dough for a short-cut to the time-consuming homemade version. Customize your calzone to your liking with a choice of provolone or American cheese. This makes a delicious quick lunch the following day as it re-heats well! Enjoy!

These Oven-Toasted Cheesesteak Sandwiches are so filling and savory, and they only take about half an hour to put together (maybe just a little longer if you have to slice the meat yourself).  This really is a fantastic, low-hassle subway sandwich, great for an easy meal at home. If you like the traditional Philly cheesesteak, you’ll love this sandwich, and it’s really surprisingly quick and easy to put together.  Gotta love that meat & cheese combo!

As you can probably tell, this recipe is designed for two people, though you can expand it rather easily to accommodate dinner for a full family without adding to your cooking time.  I have read that some Asian supermarkets have steak already thinly sliced for you; if that’s not an option, though, just allow yourself a bit of extra time to slice up the meat.  These make for a great lunch item, as well.

Love steak?  Love cheese?  Then you’ll love this Philly Cheese Steak Dip!  It has all of the great flavors of the classic original dish in convenient appetizer form.  I certainly can’t get enough of steak and cheese so this recipe is the perfect way to combine two of my very favorites. And it’s not nearly as difficult as you’d think!

I think that I have had some variant of the Philly cheese steak far more often than I have ever had the original dish.  It is great as part of a sub or other heavy sandwich.  It is great on pizza, too–great on a lot of things, really.  This recipe serves it up in extra-creamy dip form.  I loved how it came out, and so have my family and friends! I’ve been asked for this recipe so many times that I decided to print some out to have them at hand the next time someone asks for it!
