These Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Meatballs make for great party or tailgate food or for a simple, hearty meal at home. It’s a really easy recipe. And, for that matter, the sauce only requires five ingredients, most (if not all) of which are likely to be in your pantry or refrigerator already. I love a number of different meatball flavors, but the honey garlic combination is a classic, and it’s a great option if you’re on a bit of a budget and want something low-hassle.

 

This recipe specifically calls for frozen meatballs, mostly as a means of making use of meatballs you already have on hand. If you are going to cook your own and are going to use your slow cooker for this recipe, I would recommend at least chilling them before putting them in there; they’ll be less likely to break apart if you do that.

It’s safe to say that this recipe for Baked Ham & Cheese Party Wraps is meant for sharing. As-is, the recipe makes a dozen delicious wraps, topped with a delicious sweet & savory glaze. And especially considering that it’s party food (or VERY hearty snack food), it’s not exactly the most involved recipe in the world.

 

Ham and cheese makes for a good combination for a simple lunch or for party food. Well, I Haven’t Had These Quite Like This Before – WOW!

Forget making them the plain way – kick the appetizer tray up a notch and make some Breaded Deep-Fried Deviled Eggs.  Sure to wow your palate, neither you nor anyone else will be bored by these yummy treats.

These will be the center of attention at the dinner table, but not for long. They will be gone in a heartbeat! You could say that deviled eggs are victims of their own success in a way.  Though they look just lovely on a plate and could hardly be said to taste bad as-is (if you like egg and a touch of spicy flavor, that is), they’ve become such a commonly seen and eaten item at parties and tailgates that they’re kind of a yawner.  “Oh, okay, great.  Now what’s next?”

Well, it turns out, with just a little twist (an extra step or two, basically), you can make this classic but a bit clichéd party food item into something extra-savory and exciting. I’ve made these for a few parties already, and they were a great success!

Fries are a very common side and appetizer, and for good reason.  These Buffalo Fries are a really nice twist on that classic, with a nice amount of heat to excite your palate, with just the right amount of blue cheese to cool you back down.  Since you can make them in under an hour, it’s a great idea for a party appetizer or a nice wake-you-up side for your next home-cooked meal!

 

Hey, I can’t knock simple.  I really love the simple sides and appetizers, sometimes.  I have certainly eaten plenty of good, old-fashioned French fries in my time, cooked the deep-fried way, and I have to admit that they go well with a lot of things.  But sometimes, you need to shake things up a bit, am I right?  I have to admit, I was a bit intrigued by the notion of fries that technically aren’t, well, fried.  And with that nice combination of heat and creamy coolness…well, let’s just say that my sense of curiosity was too piqued NOT to try these.  I’m glad that I did!

I Had to Slap Myself to Keep From Eating a Whole Plate of These

An Easy But Delicious Finger Food Recipe

These Easy Cheesy Potato Skins are about as simple an appetizer to make as there is, but you will love the flavor! The bacon (and green onion, if you choose to include it) add a nice texture contrast in addition to giving the appetizer more mouth-watering flavor depth. These are great for parties and at-home snacking. Who doesn’t like some tasty finger food now and then?  I certainly do.  Though these potato skins make for an excellent party appetizer, they are more than easy enough to make for everyday snacking.

The kids will love them, I assure you. They’re great by themselves, but with a simple dip, they make for a nice small meal.  And you won’t have to deal with any complicated prep–no elaborate scooping or any other such medium.

Basically, just slice a few things, and the oven does the rest of the work for you.
