Last year, my husband and I visited New England. We were there briefly as we were with family visiting my in-laws who had recently had a baby (my first niece!). We were so excited to be traveling to a new part of the states, so we made it a point to visit a little. Our family took us over to Newport, Rhode Island which was absolutely gorgeous on that summer day and I was so thrilled to be there. We ate at a wonderful restaurant with a view of the sea. I had a big plate of fish n chips while my husband had a lobster roll and a clam chowder.
We loved that town so much, we have planned to go back this fall. We want to see it in a different season and we hear fall is a gorgeous time to go. We are so excited to experience a different taste of our surroundings there and eat more of the delicious food. We are especially excited to try clam chowder again. We have never had a clam chowder quite like the one we had there, so we are thrilled to be able to go back and have some more there!
