I love a good cookie recipe. Most of you know by now that there is no better treat for me than a cookie that I can enjoy on a slow afternoon or as I am heading out the door somewhere. To me it is the perfect treat because it is handheld and does not require a plate or napkin, it is hassle free and really creates no mess (unless you have a really crumbly cookie). If you have a cookie recipe that is simple and chewy, you will have the perfect treat for any time of day.
I really love when I am able to enjoy a good cookie. A lot of times, my go to is just to grab whatever I have made (usually chocolate chip or sugar) and then head out the door while munching on it. It is delicious, sure. But not something that I can often enjoy. However, there is nothing I love more than finding a new cookie recipe and making it on an afternoon off. It is the most relaxing thing I could do and the fact that it gives me a sweet treat at the end. What could be better?! This recipe is the best!
