I was sitting on my porch swing the other day when my favorite neighbor, Sally came sauntering on down the street. She had a square pan of something in your hands and I got excited because I knew she was bringing me a goody. Sally is like that, always bringing me and the other neighbors tasty treats to eat. She is so sweet! Sally presented the pan of what looked like rich and decadent chocolate and peanut butter bars to me. I graciously took them. I told Sally thank you for slaving away in the kitchen over the hot oven all day to make me this special treasure. Sally smiled and said, “I never even turned my oven on.”
Never even turned her oven on? How can that be! These bars were much to tasty to have been made any other way. Sally explained that they were no-bake peanut butter bars and she used her MICROWAVE. Her microwave, folks! So, naturally I had to have the recipe and Sally led me to the website where she found it. Thank, Sally!
