You had me at “bacon” and when it says “candied” as well, count me in! I love bacon for pretty much any meal of the day. You can’t go wrong with it, and I’ve even been able to save some otherwise boring dishes by adding a little bit of this crunchy goodness into them. This candied bacon is really versatile. It can be used by itself for a family breakfast or inside any baked goods to give a nice and sweet bacony accent to them. That delicious brown sugar on top gives it a beautiful, candied look – and the taste is simply divine.

Really you could keep some of this on hand to garnish a number of dishes! I think it would be great over a maple ice cream sundae. MMM! I can imagine how good that would taste, can you?

If you use this delicious bacon for any other dishes let me know what you did in the comments below. I love to hear your recipes and how you enjoy cooking 🙂

I absolutely love, love, love salted caramel. That makes me pretty ok with the fact that it is kind of trendy right now. I am seeing it pop up everywhere which, of course, is not a bad thing for me at all! Besides salted caramel, I’m also a big fan of no-bake recipes. I love it when I can just whip something up and I don’t have to stand by the oven to make sure nothing gets burned. And if it does (it may or may not have happened to me a few times) I have to start all over again…

This salted caramel whip dessert is not only delicious but it’s a really easy and convenient way to fix a delicious and impressive-looking dessert. Your dinner guests will appreciate it – and it does look like you’ve had to put a lot of effort in it! Let’s just keep that one a secret between us, ok?

Just kidding! Shout how easy this recipe is to make from the rooftops! Tell everyone you know because this recipe is worth getting excited over. I know that I’d like to personally give it an award 🙂

Are you looking for a dessert that is as delicious as it is pretty? And doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg to make? I believe you have just found it! This wonderful ice-cream cake looks so pretty you almost don’t have the heart to cut into it. But when you do – oh my goodness it’s delicious. Those crunchy Fruity Pebbles give a great contrast to the soft and creamy ice-cream.This recipe would be perfect for any children’s birthday party – I’d want it for my own birthday as well!

This recipe is super fun and delicious! I’ve made it a couple of times using different ice-cream flavors. Strawberry ice-cream worked beautifully for this recipe, and it also gave the cake that pretty pink hue.

This dessert is perfect for a little girl’s party. Imagine giving your little princess a tea party and serving her and her guests this pretty dessert. She will LOVE it.

Quite often when I cook at home dessert is my favorite part of the meal. What can I say, I love sweet things! I very much enjoy trying all kinds of dishes from all over the world – I think it’s a great way to get to know different cultures and all the flavors people like in other countries. But somehow it’s not that often that I get to try a foreign dessert. I don’t know why that is. Perhaps it’s because every time I go to a Chinese, Mexican or Greek restaurant, I’m so full after the main course that I skip the dessert!

Well, here’s a Mexican dessert I have tried and I really love it! Especially this recipe – I really like the firm texture and the caramel, and I imagine this to be a very authentic version of flan. This would be a great dessert for your next taco night!

In fact, I’m going to make my family’s favorite Mexican dish for supper tonight: chicken enchiladas! This dessert will pair perfectly with the spicy ethnic cuisine.

There are so many delicious desserts in this world that you’d think it would be hard to name a favorite. Well, it may be impossible to name just one, but cheesecake is definitely on my Top 5 list of desserts! I don’t actually know what it is about it that makes me such a fan. Maybe it’s the crust, which in most of the recipes is made of cookies and butter. You can’t go wrong with cookies and butter! I typically like my cheesecake plain but this recipe has me wondering what I have been missing.

This peanut butter cup cheesecake with Oreo crust is definitely decadent and rich but oh so delicious as well. The interaction between the cream cheese and the peanut butter is divine they play well together. This is a great dessert for a potluck or a tailgate!

In fact, I think I’m gonna make this delicious dessert for my family tonight to enjoy while we sit around the campfire. Fun and yummy!

These Cookie Bars Made With Browned Butter are YUMMY!!!

These cookie bars are gooey and delicious! The browned butter gives them such a yummy buttery flavor. These things are dangerous… I almost ate the whole corning ware dish of them to myself! And they are a huge hit with my whole family. There’s no way I could ever just make one batch of these. Well, I could, but then there would be none of them left for my family! So I usually just double all the ingredients in hopes of being able to share them with everyone.

I even took these to work and everyone loved them!My secret tip is to use a bit of food coloring for the frosting to make these match the theme of whatever party we’re having. Pink ones are perfect for a little princess’ birthday celebration! In fact, when my daughter was little I made her something just like that for her birthday party. She loved it and so did all of her little guests.

These cookie bars are very easy to make and the taste delightful. You’ll feel super proud of yourself once you make these and serve them to your friends and family. Enjoy!
