My husband so kindly invited his golf team over for dinner one night after their game. Normally, I wouldn’t have an issue with this. The problem was, I hadn’t planned anything to make for dinner. I was just going to do one of those make whatever you want kind of nights. I usually end up with a salad and the kids have sandwiches while my husband gobbles down whatever leftovers are in the fridge. We ended up getting pizza that night. We had to feed those guys something. I think they were starving by the time it got to our house so they didn’t complain about the absence of the home cooked meal my husband had promised.
I invited them back that weekend along with their wives after they shot for their tournament. Then, I busted out this recipe that I found on Cravings Of A Lunatic and went shopping. I knew these were going to be a huge hit. Everyone loves a good sausage dog, right?
These were so tasty, I could have probably eaten three or four myself! There was a pretty large group of us so I doubled the recipe and served it with some homemade macaroni salad… and dinner was a success!
