Momma Always Made These Rolled Up Delights with Cabbage and Beef Filling – Here’s a Much Easier Version
Every now and then I have to pull out momma’s recipe box and make something that she did so I can feel closer to her, and of course be nostalgic with my own kids over the foods that I loved best when I was their age. Cabbage rolls was one of them, I could just never get enough. While time consuming, the dish was always well worth it. I usually make it in the fall, and with the season approaching I’ve stocked up on the ingredients I need.
Then while browsing the internet I came across this deconstructed version that seemed great! As long as I have the same ingredients and flavors I’m in, and it saves me all that rolling and toothpick sticking! I can’t tell you how many times one of us has bit into a toothpick, and thankfully no one was injured because that could be very bad if you think about it.
