The Best Freakin’ Coleslaw On The Planet!

If you’re as big a fan of KFC as I am, I’m sure you’ve tried their coleslaw, too. It’s really delicious and that’s probably why people have tried so hard to copy it at home.

I had tried several copycat recipes but none of them were quite as tasty as “the real thing”. But then a friend of mine gave me this recipe and said I wouldn’t even know the difference. In fact, she said this was even better than the original coleslaw! I had my doubts about that, but I decided to give it a go, anyway.

Boy, am I glad that I did! This really is the most scrumptious coleslaw recipe on the planet, if you ask me – and I couldn’t imagine throwing a BBQ party without making at least one batch of this!

You can make this faster by using store-bought coleslaw mix, but if you want to use really fresh ingredients and shred some cabbage yourself, it’ll make this completely out of this world!

Crunchy And Delicious – This Copycat Coleslaw Will Become Your Favorite Side Dish

If you’ve ever been to Kentucky Fried Chicken, I bet you’ve also had their famous coleslaw. I know I certainly couldn’t leave that place without ordering it! Unfortunately, there isn’t a KFC nearby and I just don’t have the time to drive to the nearest one whenever I feel like it. No worries – when there’s a problem, you find a solution and move on. Right? That’s exactly what I did; I asked around and found this amazing copycat recipe that is even better than the real thing!

Coleslaw is such a perfect side dish for pretty much any meal. Sure, most of us are used to serving it with our BBQ, but I tend to put it in just about everything. Chicken and mashed potatoes? Coleslaw it is. Bacon and cheeseburger? Stuff it with coleslaw! Surely it’s not for pita wraps? Well of course it is! You name it – I’ve tried it!

Another note about coleslaw…did you realize how versatile it is? It isn’t only for putting into a bowl or on a plate and eating with a fork. No, sir! You put coleslaw on pulled pork sandwich, burgers, or even use it as a relish for hot dogs. How awesome is that?

2 Steps To The Best Coleslaw You’ll Ever Eat

I kind of have a thing for coleslaw.  I think coleslaw is really yummy, but I like recipes that are creamy and easy to chew. This coleslaw fits both those requirements and is incredibly easy to make.  I knew I had to prepare this for my next BBQ.The secret to success here is to use a blender.  I have a Vita-Mix which is prefect for this kind of recipe, as it has various settings, such as speed, that can help cut the ingredients to the perfect size depending on my preference that day.

This is also my husband’s favorite preparation as it reminds him of his mom’s southern meal version. I try to make it just like she does and even though my sweet husband tells me it is better than his mama’s, I don’t know if I beleive him.

I mean, can anything really be better than your southern mama’s cooking? This coleslaw recipe certainly comes close. Enjoy!

With spring here and summer just around the corner, it’s that time of year again. It’s time for picnics and backyard barbecues. And what is a picnic or a backyard barbecue without some classic coleslaw salad?

Every backyard barbecue has to have hotdogs, hamburgers, fruit salad, potato salad and the classic coleslaw. And with the weather warming up, it’s the perfect time to try out this absolutely delicious creamy coleslaw.

Not only is coleslaw a classic must-have, but it’s a great way to provide a refreshing dish for those warm evenings spent with friends and family. The cool cabbage and tangy dressing are a perfect way to cool down before diving in for some juicy watermelon and sweet cake.

But don’t worry that you’ll spend too much time trying to get this ready. Use a bag of pre-shredded cabbage makes this recipe so easy to get ready.

Coleslaw is such an amazing food. You can eat it alone, as a side dish, or even as a garnish for a burger. When you have a backyard BBQ, you’ve definitely got to have coleslaw on the menu, at least if you’re coming to one of my shindigs. Our little family loves eating coleslaw, from the youngest member to the oldest. It’s just a staple side dish for us.

This recipe is tangy, sweet, and crunchy all wrapped into one big bowl of creamy goodness. We know once you take your first bite you’ll be in salad heaven. Get all the zippy tang you need with cider vinegar paired with zesty mayo that’s infused with black pepper, onions, and fresh parsley.

Chorizo Spiced Pulled Pork Sandwiches With Street Corn Slaw

black pepper, breakfast, cayenne, chili powder, chorizo, Cilantro, coleslaw, cooking, cookware, corn kernel, corn starch, Cumin, dessert, dinner, food, garlic, gastro, honey, lime juice, lunch, mayonnaise, Mexican cotija cheese, onion, paprika, pork shoulder, pulled pork, recipe

These chorizo spiced pulled pork sandwiches are something special indeed! I love pulled pork sandwiches. The contrast of the smoky pork with the tang and sweetness of the slaw – really, it has my mouth watering just talking about it!

But this chorizo spiced pulled pork is really something special. The street corn slaw is just the cherry on top of a well spiced pork shoulder. And although it is not a difficult to perform recipe there is a rather long list of ingredients.

This recipe makes a lot of sandwiches and they are just as good re-heated. That’s something you’ll be greatful for the next day, as these will make a delicious lunch!
