banana bread, Blue Diamond walnuts, Clabber Girl baking soda, Creme Fraiche, Daisy sour cream, Dole bananas, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, food, Gold Medal flour, ground cinnamon, ice cream, Johnsonville, Kraft, land o lakes butter, McCormick spices, Morton salt, recipe, TruMoo milk, vanilla extract, Wesson vegetable oil

Warm, sweet, and fresh out of the oven are how I like to eat my banana bread. Add a pat of salty butter to the top and enjoy with a cup of tea or a tall glass of milk. Yum! I don’t know about you, but banana bread is a staple around my humble abode. It’s more like a dessert or afternoon snack versus just a plain old banana bread.

I know, we’ve all got our favorite banana bread recipes that have probably been passed down through the generations, but Folks, this recipe is amazing. We are willing to bet that it’s on par with your great great granny’s BB recipe. If you enjoy your banana bread moistly and flavorful, get clicking to the next page for the ingredients so you can get started on your loaf.

Lickity Split! That’s How Fast You’ll Devour This Dessert

Are you a lemon lover? If so, this amazing pound cake is just what the dessert doctor ordered! It is so darn tasty! For some, lemon pound cake has become a southern family tradition.

“Our family was blessed to have a wonderful Great Aunt Beulah.  She had a big heart, and she loved all of her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as if we were all her own grandchildren.  She never forgot a birthday,  and she celebrated every special achievement and event with loving pride.  This is her famous lemon pound cake recipe.”

I must say Great Aunt Beulah sounds a lot like my grandmother! She made sure to remember everyone in our big, ever-growing family. And grandma also loved baking, almost as much as we loved eating her cakes and other delightful treats! Her signature lemon cake was very much like this recipe here – and that’s why I was so happy when I first tried this. Unfortunately, her recipe has since disappeared but this is as close as it gets!

Are you ready to whip up your very own lemon pound cake? We promise it’s not as hard as it sounds!

3 Reasons To Pour Out Your Problems To This Dessert

baking powder, chocolate dump cake, Clabber Girl, Clabber Girl baking soda, Daisy, dessert, Dole, Domino, eat, egglands best, food, Gold Medal, Heinz cider vinegar, Hellman, Kraft, Land O Lakes, McCormick, Morton, Nestle, recipe, semisweet chocolate chips, TruMoo, unsalted butter, vanilla, Wesson

Girl (or guy), are you having one of those days? Cheer up buttercup because this cake is going to make it all better. Whenever I’m feeling glum, I bake a cake. Why? Well, The Golden Girls always turned to sugary goodies when they were having a bad day, and it worked for them. Who wouldn’t want to be peppy like Rose Nyland?

Another reason to bake a cake of this magnitude when you’re feeling blue is calorie deprivation. Everyone knows that when you eat cake due to be sad, the calories don’t count. Right? That’s true, isn’t it? Of course, it is, my best friend would never lie to me…

So, are you ready for a chocolate covered therapy session?

Clabber Girl, Clabber Girl baking soda, Daisy, dessert, Dole, domino sugar, eat, egglands best, eggs, Flour, food, Gold Medal, Hellman, Jiff peanut butter, Kraft, Land O Lakes, McCormick, Morton, Powdered sugar, recipe, sheet cake, TruMoo, vanilla, Wesson

When you’re looking for a dessert that will really stick to your ribs (and to the roof of your mouth), this peanut butter sheet cake is the ticket! Nothing can compare to the glorious texture and taste of a moist cake smothered in creamy peanut butter frosting. Beware, when you are mixing up the batter every man, woman, and child around you is going to be vying for the lucky winner spot of  the official “bowl licker.” There really isn’t anything bad about this recipe.

The cake always comes out amazingly moist and the frosting is to die for. I’ve made this cake for my Great Uncle’s birthday almost every year since I’ve been able to bake as he absolutely loves it, and so does everyone else. If chocolate cake and peanut butter cake were in a  cage fight, PB would wipe the floor with old Mr. Choco.

Now, that would be a mess, wouldn’t it! There’d be chocolate and peanut butter smeared all over the ding dang floor. I guess we can be thankful that peanut butter and chocolate are inanimate objects LOL

blueberries, Breyers, Clabber Girl baking soda, dessert, Domino, Driscoll's, eat, egg, egglands best, food, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, grated, Highlan buttermilk, Land O Lakes, lemon zest, light brown sugar, Morton Kosher Salt, raspberries, receipe, salt, summer, Sunkist, unsalted butter, Vanilla bean ice cream

Seriously folks, nothing puts a smile on your face like an old-fashioned whoopie pie. However, this recipe puts a twist on the ooey, gooey, cake dessert and uses ice cream instead. Made with mixed berries, the cake portion of the pies are filled with sweet, summer yummies. Once the dessert has been fully constructed, you’re left with two fluffy cakes with a thick slab of ice cream sandwiched between them.

This dessert is truly drool-worthy and makes a great hit during the summer months. We like to eat them any time of the year at our house. Make up a big batch and store them in the freezer to share with friends and family. Of course, you can always stash a few behind the frozen veggies for yourself. You never know when you’ll need some late night snacking reinforcements.

I Have Died And Gone To Cheesy Snack Heaven

My experience with cheese curds has been hit and miss, but I think I have found the solution with these fried ones. You see, I’ve sampled many a fried cheese curd at various restaurants, carnivals, and gas stations (not proud of this one), and yet none of them truly hit the spot… until I found this recipe. This is a true keeper and I have already shared this with friends and family. Everyone seems to love it just as much as I do! I have had the cheese curds on french fries with gravy, and when its done correctly it is quite tasty.

These buttermilk dipped fried cheese curds are delicious all by themselves. They are perfect as an appetizer, or you could make a large batch for your next potluck or tailgate. I know that sometimes my family and I will have a movie night together and I’ll often fry up a batch of these cheese curds. Everyone loves them!

Make sure to serve these fried cheese curds with dipping sauces such as Ranch or honey mustard. Get creative with your condiments. My husband likes to dip them in salsa. I personally think that dipping cheese curd sin salsa is gross but, hey, to each his own, right?

Quick Tip: Dip your cheese curds in a variety of sauces like Ranch dressing, nacho cheese sauce, or marinara sauce.

Low Fat – But Definitely Not Low Taste!

all-purpose flour, breakfast, butter, Clabber Girl baking soda, cooking, cookware, dessert, dinner, food, gastro, ground flax seeds, Hershey unsweetened cocoa powder, Hershey's dark chocolate, low-fat Greek yogurt, Lowfat Brownies, lunch, McCormick vanilla extract, recipe, sugar

Are you trying to cut down on calories? There’s no reason to cut down on deliciousness! These low-fat fudge brownies will blow you away. They taste just as good as the full-fat version and no-one will believe when you tell them they are “diet food”!

Well ok, ok, maybe I shouldn’t call brownies diet food. But these certainly are lighter than the ones I usually make, so I had my doubts before trying this recipe. However, they turned out so tasty that I’ve made them a couple of times ever since!

The Greek yogurt ads some moisture and unlike most low-fat brownie recipes, these are not dry at all. These are a great treat for the whole family – and you don’t even need to tell them that they are a healthier version. Nobody will ever know!
