Here’s Your Ticket To Easier Mornings!

If you’re anything like me, every morning is a bit of a struggle. It’s not exactly easy to get up at 5am every day, and on top trying to get yourself ready for work you need to make sure your kids don’t leave the house hungry. I will be the first one to admit I’ve literally thrown apples at them while rushing them out the door. There’s nothing wrong with a fresh apple, but it’s not a very wholesome morning meal, is it?

A few weeks ago I decided I don’t want to stress over breakfast anymore, so I spent a few hours putting together a meal plan. I collected a bunch of easy breakfast ideas and I actually made a monthly plan, listing out every ingredient I would need for each recipe and how much time I would need to make them.

It took me a couple of hours to do that but it has had a huge impact on my family’s morning routines! Things are not as chaotic anymore, and no-one has to leave the house with an empty belly. These are my favorite 7 easy breakfast ideas – I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Jumpin’ Jehoshaphat! These Maple-Glazed Cinnamon Rolls Are A-OK!

The other day I was enjoying a delicious Cinna-Bon sweet roll with maple frosting and thought to myself, “Boy, this is good but man are these rolls expensive!” It’s true, Cinna-Bon rolls are excellent in the taste department but horrible in the bank account field. A dozen of these rolls costs you almost $20! What?! So, I had to think of another way to feed my obsession and that is to simply make the cinnamon rolls myself. Now, the following recipe on the next page isn’t a Cinna-Bon recipe but I personally think it tastes even better. You’re gonna love this!

Normally, cinnamon rolls get topped with some sort of cream cheese icing but these rolls are happily bathed in a maple frosting and they taste heavenly.

I can’t wait for you to give this recipe a try and let me know how it turns out in the comment section below. Happy baking!

These Are The Easiest (Yet Most Delicious) Cinnamon Rolls You Will Ever Make

I am a huge fan of cinnamon rolls. You have no idea how much I absolutely love them. One of my favorite things to do is go to an Amish farm about 30 minutes away from my home and stand in line for over 3 hours (yep, you read that right, over 3 hours!!) for a dozen of their amazing cinnamon rolls. You might think it is crazy, but these cinnamon rolls are totally worth it. Nowadays, it has become a little harder to make it out there as often as I would like for a dozen cinnamon rolls. It is just so much harder to find the time to stand in line for that!

But, after a few searches online, I think I have found the recipe that although will likely not replace those Amish cinnamon rolls, they come to a close second! I have tried these over and over again, and let me tell you friends: they are fool proof!

There is no way to mess these up, for real! On top of the easiness, they are so delicious! The biscuit dough with loads of cinnamon sugar make for a delicious topping over It all! I absolutely love how these turn out!

About 30 minutes away from where I live, there is a farm of strawberries and tomatoes that is owned by an Amish family. They live in Ohio in the summer months and travel to Florida for the winter where they open the farm, sell their crops and make some home baked goods. Some of the best treats they make are herb rolls and cheesy bread. They are salty and fresh and I could down the bag of dozen in one day if my husband would let me.

The other great treat they make is the cinnamon roll. Now, these cinnamon rolls have something that is unlike any other I have ever eaten in my life. They have a thick bread, but it is very soft. They are not necessarily flaky, but definitely very fluffy. They are really fat and the center is full of cinnamon goodness. The glaze over these is not just a light drizzle, but it is completely coated. It is so amazing! The line to get a box of cinnamon rolls is never shorter than 3 hours, but they are still totally worth it. I go at least once every winter and stock up!

The Most Delightful Breakfast Recipe You’ll Ever Try

I don’t know about you guys, but cinnamon rolls are one of my favorite desserts. I love eating them in the morning with my cup of coffee.

They are sweet, soft, and so lovely that my mind can only go to pleasant places while I’m enjoying them. These is one of the greatest cinnamon roll recipes of all time, if you ask me. You want to know why? First of all, it is super easy to make, so you can whip it up in no time.

Second, there is coffee in the frosting and that is the most perfect thing for a breakfast cinnamon roll, isn’t it? Sometimes I make these cinnamon rolls in larger batches and freeze them, so that I can have breakfast ready in no time, when I’m in a hurry. Then I just throw these in the microwave and make the frosting!

Growing up, we often visited a local bakery where they made cinnamon rolls.  My siblings and I absolutely loved going there, but they were only open a few months of the year.  It was such a disappointment when they closed for the summer! So, we decided we had to make our own.

Years later, I’ve finally found the best recipe for this.  It does not take too much rising time, nor is the process too long.  The cinnamon rolls are even better than the ones we used to buy and it makes enough for the whole family to share.
