I didn’t care if there were a million dollars wrapped up in shiny paper and tied with a golden bow, I wanted that cake. To this day, the best part about my birthday is still the cake. Now, as an adult, I’d take that million dollars wrapped up in the pretty paper, though. Shoot, I’d take $5 stuffed into a paper bag haha! Anyway, if you are a cake lover like myself these five amazing recipes are just what you’ve been searching for all of your life.

Serve them with some fine cheese and crackers, during tea time… there’s plenty to go around!

Be careful, though, if you’re serving these to a larger crowd! These tea cakes are so delicious that you’ll probably want to make a double batch. Or at least try and grab a couple of them and hide them! They will be gone in a matter of minutes and, believe me – you don’t want to be left without!

This Fall Cake May Just Be Flip-Worthy

Just like its sibling, the pineapple upside down cake, this Caramel Apple Upside Down cake is loaded with sweet, fruity flavor, only this recipe has more of the spicy comfort of fall than the tastes of summer. I happen to like a good upside down cake, regardless of the exact flavor. I think that this is perfectly suited for autumn and the holiday season, however. There’s nothing like the soothing comfort of caramel and the crisper, slightly acidic sweetness of apple to warm you up during the cooler months..yummy!

Add this to your holiday menu and you’ll become everyone’s favorite chef! This is the perfect dessert to compliment any meal – and I promise you, it’ll also make the most delicious breakfast treat with a hot cup of coffee in the morning.

This Simple Banana Pudding Cake bakes in about 45 minutes, with just a few easy steps to prep it before baking. Don’t let the simplicity of this cake or its two-ingredient icing fool you, however. This cake is loaded with rich, sweet flavor, and it’s incredibly moist!  It’s a dessert that’s easy enough to make whenever you feel like a little treat for yourself or your family, and yet it will be a big hit at most any gathering.

This recipe makes good, creative use of a few basic ingredients!  The use of olive oil instead of the usual vegetable or canola oil adds a bit of extra depth to the flavor without weighing the cake down too much. You can actually eat this cake even without the simple icing and have a very nice dessert, but it really is about the perfect topping for it. Enjoy!
