Just 15 minutes of basic cooking, a little prep, 20 minutes of baking, and you can have this Quinoa Banana Nut Bread ready. And with a good helping of essential vitamins, fiber, and protein, this dessert isn’t just good but also surprisingly good for you. I have always enjoyed banana nut bread (rare is the time I’ve passed up getting some of it when I happen to pass by it at Kroger), but I can’t say that I have tried a healthy, gluten-free banana nut bread recipe before now. Well, I give this two yums up, and as easy as it is to make, I’m sure it will be making plenty more appearances in my kitchen in the future.

I have several friends with celiac disease and sometimes it’s difficult to find a nice gluten-free recipe. I always want to serve something delicious, and many of those gluten-free dessert have seemed a bit on the dry side. This banana bread is such a wonderful exception!

It’s another great cookie recipe! If you like macadamia nuts or white chocolate, I think you’ll love these White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Cookies. With under 15 minutes of baking time, this recipe yields about 2 dozen, so that’s about 13 cookies you can share with friends and family… of course, you can also hoard them away for your own pleasure.  It’s up to you!

This is such a simple recipe you’ll probably already have most of the ingredients at hand – and you can change things up a little if you’re missing some of them. Of course, you will need cookie sheets for this recipe. Actual baking time is just nine minutes, and though there is some prep, it’s nothing too involved. Just be sure not to over-mix or space the individual pieces of dough too close together, and you’ll have two dozen beautiful and tasty cookies in no time.

Are You Ready To Sample Some Of This Incredible Dessert?

Bread pudding is a classic dessert that can best be described as simple but elegant. This Bread Pudding With Whiskey Sauce recipe includes options for lightening things up a bit while still bringing the great flavor.

My great-grandmother, whom I called Granny and whom Dad called Mama, made a fantastic bread pudding with a whiskey sauce that practically made a dessert by itself. Alas, Granny closely guarded her recipes, and it was lost. I was happy to stumble upon this recipe and indulge in a little nostalgia. Though I can’t say that the recipe is exactly the same, it is similar, and I think that even Granny would have agreed that it is really tasty.

Of course, if you prefer making the sauce without the whiskey, this will still turn out delightful. But I would highly recommend giving it a try! I am definitely not a fan of whiskey but it makes this dessert super flavorful.

If you like cheesecake and like red velvet cake, you will love this beautiful marriage of the two: the Red Velvet Cheesecake. It’s a decadent blend of textures and flavors that is sure to make your sweet tooth really happy. Wow, this looks so festive and tastes even better! Many people probably would save this treat for the holidays, but with the weather already turning cooler, I just couldn’t resist giving this recipe a try. And boy, am I glad that I did! It’s two of my favorite types of cake, beautifully layered into one.

The mid layer can be deceiving – for someone taking a quick look at this cake, it may look like cream cheese frosting. But it isn’t! It’s the delicious baked cheesecake in between the gorgeous red velvet layers that makes this cake so extra special. Once you have a taste, you will keep going for one more bite!

Argo cornstarch, bake, baked, baked dessert, baker, baking, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, Borden, brown sugar, Campbell’s soups, casserole, child, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, cookie, cookie bar, cookie bars, cookie recipe, cookies, Cool Whip, creamy peanut butter, crock pot, Daisy sour cream, dessert, dessert recipe, Dole, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, family, family-friendly, food, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, Green Giant, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, home, home recipe, Jell-O, Jif, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, keebler, kid, kid-friendly, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, Libby, low-hassle, low-hassle dessert, McCormick spices, Morton salt, oven, Pam Cooking Spray, peanut butter, peanut butter cookie, peanut butter cookie bar, peanut butter cookie bars, peanut butter cookies, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, Powdered sugar, recipe, Ritz crackers, Sara Lee, Sargento, slow cooker, tailgate, tailgate dessert, tailgate food, tailgate party, tailgating, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping

I always did like peanut butter. At an early point in my life, I probably could have eaten jars at a time, but for the texture of it. It’s delicious but sticks to EVERYTHING! The solution: Well, just put it in super-yummy and low-hassle cookie form, of course! These Peanut Butter Cookie Bars are a family-friendly treat for all ages. And since you can make two to three dozen of them in well under an hour and don’t have to worry about keeping them chilled, they make for an ideal tailgate party option, as well.

This really is a treat for all ages. And it’s really not that difficult to put together. In the course of an evening, you easily could make a couple of batches for a large tailgate or football party and another “private” batch for yourself and the family. The best part, though, in my opinion, is that you get that great peanut butter flavor without the peanut butter hassle.

Be Sure to Have Your Sweet Tooth Ready For This – WOW!

These Cheesecake Rolo Bars are loaded with chocolate and caramel flavor and make for a delicious, decadent, multi-textured dessert that doesn’t require professional-level baking skills. I know that cheesecakes can be really rich, but they’re surprisingly simple to put together, and they offer a really versatile platform for whatever dessert flavor that you have in mind. If you ever enjoyed munching on Rolos or just happen to be a lover of chocolate and caramel like myself, you will gobble up these cheesecake Rolo bars!

Actual baking time is only about 45 minutes, and with no intense mixing involved (or even any baking equipment beyond the pan and some spoons and measuring cups), the most difficult part will be waiting for the dessert to chill overnight.

I enjoyed eating Rolos when I was young but thought that they might be even better with a little crunch. This super delicious recipe from Hugs and Cookies XOXO gives them that crunch and some yummy creaminess to boot. I’m so glad I came across this one!

You don’t have to put together everything from scratch to have a tasty and original dessert!  This Orange Creamsicle Cake recipe cleverly combines a couple of mixes with a few basic ingredients to recreate that classic childhood frozen treat in cake form. This is such a delicious dessert that your whole family will enjoy!

I have always been a bit of an experimenter in the kitchen.  Particularly when I’ve let myself get in a bit of a food rut, I enjoy putting together a few “same-old, same-old” ingredients to see if the combination gives me something tasty and exciting.  So this sort of recipe is just down my alley.  It didn’t hurt, either, that I loved those orange creamsicles so much as a kid.
