7 classic dessert recipes peach pie

Life is always sweeter when you add a few slices of peach pie to the mix.

Peach pie is one of my favorite desserts. I often crack open a jar of grandma’s canned peaches and make my family a deliciously baked pan of happiness. Did you know that the peaches my grandmother preserves come from her and grandad’s grove? Yep, they have their very own orchard on their property in Georgia. How cool is that? Anyway, using fresh peaches when making pie is always the best!

Thank you so much, Bless Us O Lord, for sharing your peach pie recipe with us. The leftovers (if there are any) taste even better the next day!

What’s better than a berry pie? A berry berry pie!

You’re probably wondering what in the world that means. Well, it means that we used two types of berries in this amazing pie recipe and we couldn’t be happier about it. Blueberries and strawberries were both tossed into a buttery pie crust and topped with an even butterier lattice crust. My husband and kids raved over this yummy berry pie and said that it tasted even better when eaten with ice cream. I have to say, ice cream does kick the flavor factor up a few more notches.

Thank you so much, Bless Us O Lord, for sharing your very berry pie recipe with us. I took it to my church’s annual potluck supper last Sunday and everyone LOVED it!

Does a frozen cream pie recipe really get any tastier than this?

My mom was always the pie maker in our family. She learned how to make homemade pies from her mom and her mom taught her and so on and so forth. I am privileged to have taken on the honor of learning from her and being the new pie maker in town. Nobody knows how to teach a recipe like my mama. Anyway, mom used to make these awesome frozen cream pies that everyone would lose their minds over. She had chocolate, peanut butter, and vanilla. I’m super excited to give this Key lime version a whirl!

Thank you so much, Bless Us O Lord, for sharing your frozen key lime pie recipe with us. I took it to my church’s annual potluck supper last Sunday and everyone LOVED it!

Cream cheese cornflake cookies make the perfect early morning breakfast when you’re on the go.

You always fail at one point. But that’s the secret—you always learn from your mistakes. After failing, you slowly try to perfect the actions until you can do it even with your eyes closed. That’s how life is, isn’t it? You fail, you stand up, and you do it again.

Sometimes, we even fail for a number of times that we start to lose hope. But never worry. Life is a continuous cycle. There will always be downs, but there will also be ups. We just have to be patient.

So what’s with all the life teachings? Nothing really. It’s just that when I saw this recipe and read how it came to be, I was a bit touched and then amused. Touched because of my best friend, who owns this recipe, had a few realizations about life and mistakes that she told me about. Amused because it was a bit funny how her simple mistake turned out to be a really good one.

Her husband and her kids all loved the recipe she thought was a failure! And they seemed to even have gotten addicted to it. Check out this recipe and find out what’s so addicting about these cream cheese cornflake cookies.

Mom Makes The BEST Pecan Apple Bundt Cake

apple and pecan bundt cake, Argo cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, barilla pasta, Bertolli extra-virgin olive oil, black pepper, Bob's Red Mill, Borden, brown suagr sauce, brown sugar, Campbell’s soups, casserole, Chiquita, Clabber Girl, College Inn, Cool Whip, crock pot, Daisy sour cream, dessert, Dole, domino sugar, eat, Eggland's Best eggs, fisher nuts, food, Gold Medal flour, granulated sugar, Green Giant, Hershey, Hodgkin’s Mill, Jell-O, Jif peanut butter, Johnsonville, keebler, Kerrygold butter, kosher salt, Kraft, land o lakes butter, Libby, McCormick spices, Morton salt, Pam Cooking Spray, Pepperidge Farm, Philadelphia cream cheese, Powdered sugar, recipe, Ritz crackers, Sara Lee, Sargento, slow cooker, Thorn Apple Valley, Toll House, TruMoo milk, tyson, vanilla, vanilla extract, Vlasic, Wesson vegetable oil, whipped topping

If there is one dessert I cannot turn away, it is an apple flavored dessert. Yep, whether it actually has apples, is a fake with just some apple extract (is that a thing?) or just has apple juice, I am a sucker for all things apple (especially with vanilla ice cream over the top!).  I mean, just ask my waist.

It will definitely tell how much apple desserts I actually eat.  Well, the goodness of apple desserts is something I like to make at home because if not I will spend a fortune at the supermarket keeping my apple sweets stocked.

This past week was a teacher planning day at school, so my granddaughter Alexa came over to spend the night.  I had promised her we would make an apple cake because I know she likes apples as much as I do.  She was thrilled at the idea so she gladly came and was excited for the following morning so we could make the cake.

Well, we were so excited, we decided to make it that night to eat a slice while watching Eloise at The Plaza.  Oh goodness, gracious, thank God I had Alexa to share this with or I would have eaten the whole thing by myself.  It was so good, I now cannot get enough!

Basic buttermints recipe got me like, “woah”.

As a little girl, I can remember my great grandma always having crystal candy dishes in almost every room that contained buttermints. My siblings and I would eat them by the handful and my mom would get so mad at us! Grandma would just smile and refill the candy dish with more buttermints. LOL! Grandma’s are so awesome, aren’t they? Anyway, I found a delicious recipe for homemade buttermints on one of ym favorite food blogs. I really think you are going to like this recipe as it only contains five ingredients!

I am beyond excited that I found this recipe over on the Making Memories With Your Kids website. Homemade buttermitns are my new go-to candy.
