You won’t even believe how good mashed potatoes can be, with a few simple tweaks!
My son absolutely loves mashed potatoes. Ever since he first started eating “solid” foods. That was one of the first things that I ever feed him. My mom always said that the reason why he was waking up so much at night was because he was hungry. If I could fill him up, he would sleep more soundly. When babies don’t have many teeth, you don’t have a whole lot of options when it comes to feeding them. Mashed potatoes were my mom’s idea and it was a great one. As soon as he started having these for dinner, I started getting a full night’s sleep.
I used to make the potatoes just the traditional stove top way that my mom taught me, and then I found this recipe on Recipe Lion for sour cream and cheese potatoes. That was something even I was excited about.
These were even easier than traditional flavors, despite the fact that there are more ingredients. My son went crazy over these the first time that I made them and nearly ate the whole pan himself.
