Coleslaw mix in your chicken soup? Yep!
My husband is a mega fan of coleslaw. So, whenever he says that he likes something I run with it and tend to make that particular food over and over again until he tires of it. We basically ate coleslaw all summer long and then one day he was like, “Um, Ok, I’ve had my fill.” LOL! The only problem was that I still had a bag of the mix sitting in the fridge!
So, I was really happy to have come across this recipe for coleslaw soup on the Me Lady Cooks blog. She really gives us a great idea on how to use up all of that shredded cabbage. I don’t know about you guys and gals but I despise letting food go to waste. This soup turns out fabulously.
