This Dessert Blew My Mind!

Here’s a great way to make a delightful and fun dessert for your holiday parties! Everyone loves s’mores, right? But if you happen to be living in a place where the winter weather is not exactly very inviting, you may not feel like going out and making a fire just to enjoy the campfire treats. No need to worry, this recipe will give you that delish flavor without making you freeze to death!

This s’mores roll-up is a dessert from my dreams! It’s easy to make (you can prepare it in ten minutes) and it’s filled with that ooey-gooey marshmallow stuff. You only need seven ingredients for these, and you’ll get six servings out of this recipe. The perfect end to a lovely family dinner!

The only problem is, you’re probably going to have to make a double batch because everyone is going to want seconds! This stuff is addictive – you know, just like the traditional s’mores are. And if you really want to take this to the next level, you can add some butterscotch chips in there, too. Ridiculously good!

Stir yourself up a little sunshine in a saucepan with this recipe.

Normally, when I make a pound cake I mix the ingredients together in a bowl and then pour them into a greased baking pan. However, this recipe calls for a ‘lil sumthin’ different. You end up mixing all the ingredients in a saucepan over heat on your range.

The dough is smooth and pourable and looks like pound cake velvet. If you think that sounds enticing just wait until you taste the finished product! I don’t think I’ve ever made an easier pound cake in my life. My husband and kids really liked this recipe.

I’m super excited that I came across this recipe over on the RB And Mandy Blog! If you’d like to get the details on how to make this wonderful recipe please hop on over to the next page for a complete list of ingredients and instructions. Enjoy!

This Goulash Is Pure Perfection On A Plate!

My parents live next to a wonderful old man called Hans; or Grandpa Hans, as we have called him ever since I was just a little girl. He is one of the kindest, most fun people I’ve ever known and we spent so many afternoons at his house when my parents were still at work. Hans’ wife had passed away before we moved to the neighborhood and he never remarried, so he always said he really enjoyed our company.

Hans is an awesome cook – I’m not sure if he had had to learn since his wife died or if he was always the main chef in the family. He often invited my parents, sister and I for dinner, and we made so many memories listening to his stories about Germany, and also the various places he had traveled over the years.

Hans often made his stupendous German goulash that isn’t at all like the American version. German goulash is made of beef chuck, instead of ground beef like we’re used to. It is super flavorful and I honestly think it’s the perfect meal for any occasion. I like serving it over mashed potatoes but you could serve it with rice or noodles, if preferred.

We Cracked The Code! This Is The Most Amazing Way To Cook Roast Beef

I had an awesome roast beef recipe that I used to make for Sunday supper, once a month. It was a recipe my aunt gave me years ago; she said she had found it in an old cook book and thought it was scrumptious. And it really was – I thought it was the best EVER and there’s no way anything could ever top that one. But then our neighbors invited us over for dinner.

Kristen, my neighbor, had made roast beef with baked potatoes and as soon as we stepped in, the aromas nearly swept me off my feet. I asked her if she had a family recipe for it but she kind of just shrugged and said; “No, I just found this one online.”

The meal was out-of-this-world amazing and I’m not even ashamed to say I forced her to give me the recipe immediately. She was more than happy to do so and, of course, I immediately saved it in my stash of favorites when I got back home.
