You May Want To Keep The Whole Pie To Yourself

Have you ever heard of chess pie? No, it’s not a pie crust filled with Velveeta or slices of waxy cheese.

It’s a heavenly dish filled with fluffy mixed eggs, sugar, milk, flour, and cornmeal. I also said “chess” not “cheese” hehehe! This pie is truly something special and you gotta try it as soon as possible. In my opinion, chess pie is a checkmate! Even my children liked it and they typically do not care for new things. When I said “chess pie” to them my youngest replied, “checkers?” LOL!

One of the greatest things about this chess pie is how easy it is to make. You simply whip the ingredients together and bake it in the oven for x-amount of time and there you have it! Total yumminess! I am in love with this pie and will continue to make it time and time again. Are you ready to make my favorite recipe? Let’s get to it!

Fill Your Belly With This Stuffing That Will Make You Want To Slap Your Momma

Raise your hand if your favorite thing about Thanksgiving is the food? I bet there are like a gazillion hands raised right about now.

The traditional Thanksgiving spread is probably one of the most notable dinners in the USA. From the turkey to the sweet potatoes, you truly get a little dose of food heaven. Plus, you fall into a nice food coma afterward. I think my favorite part of the Thanksgiving dinner would be the stuffing. I love it! This recipe is for sausage stuffing that is truly delectable.

I have made this stuffing for weeknight meals in addition to holiday spread as well and everyone in my family loves it. It’s one of the recipes that you just can’t go wrong with. Give it a shot. I know you and yours will be head over heels about it. I will definitely be making this sausage stuffing time and time again and not just on the holidays!

I Never Would Have Guessed What This Cake Was Made Of!

Hey there, everybody! I hope you are all having a great afternoon. So, I just had coffee with my neighbor, Sally. Sally had made a huge cake and she said it was super duper yummy.

I asked her the name of the cake assuming she would say something chocolatey but nope. Can you guess what it was? A tomato cake! Have you ever heard of such a thing? I for one thought it sounded really weird. However, her whole house smelled amazing so I had to have a taste. And it was delicious!

From what Sally tells me this tomato cake is incredibly easy to make. The way she describes it sounds sort of like a dump cake, to me. And I love that, since I barely have time to make anything complicated these days! Well, if you guys decide to make this recipe please post your experiences in the comments below. I always enjoy hearing from you. Happy baking!
