During reunions, it’s not just the older generation who cooks.

Each of us has tasks even if it’s just a tiny dessert for the kids or bread to accompany the soup. There was this one time when I had to make breakfast again (we take turns). I didn’t like preparing breakfast for the family. Most of us aren’t morning people. So whoever was assigned to cook breakfast was usually the victim of grumbles and bad moods. This is the reason why when you’re assigned for breakfast, no one would actually help you. So unlike if you’re assigned for dinner, for example, they would often volunteer. Lazy buggers! LOL

I was successful during the last reunion, though, and it’s because of a recipe I found over at this website while I was searching for appetizers. It’s called bacon-wrapped cream cheese. It smelled so good it woke the entire house up without me ringing the bell in the kitchen (yes, my aunt’s house has that.)

Everyone was happy too. I served the bacon and cream cheese wraps with eggs and toast. Everyone was happy and eating like little piggies. I call that a victory!

Quick Tip: For a crispier bacon, place under the broiler for approximately 1 minute (watch them or they will burn).
