I love Italian food. Ahh, if there is one thing I absolutely LOVE, it is Italian food. Full of flavor, loaded with cheese and lots of gooey goodness, there is really nothing I love more than a big plate of Italian comfort food. Think of it, Italian food should have been named the mother of all comfort foods. It is loaded with carbs (the pasta) and has tons of cheese. Who does not want that on a sick or sad day? I know I sure do and I am sorry, but I cannot stop eating this.
My husband is a huge proponent of serving up Italian food to our kids at least once a week. There is one night a week that I am not home in time for dinner due to getting out of work later, and my husband is in charge of serving the kids dinner.
Well, his go-to is always Italian food because he says it is comforting, filling and amazingly delicious. I have to agree with the man, I mean he has got a point. This is the very best casserole dish and the only thing I want on a gloomy day! My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
