For years, I’ve enjoyed my grandma’s pecan pies during the holidays. She always makes them the same way and they turn out amazingly delicious.
Grandma sure does know her way around the kitchen. However, I came across this recipe for chocolate Kahlua pecan pie and thought, “Why not?” So, I gathered the ingredients and got to work. The first thing that I noticed was how heavenly the house smelled. It was like walking into a Cheesecake factory. The scents of the pie and pecans all baking together was better than any candle.
Plus, this pie has Kahlua in it and that in itself smells like a dream come true. Have you ever cooked with alcohol? Don’t worry, all of the alcohol burns off during the baking phase and you are left with the lovely flavor. Yum!

Quick Tip: This pie goes great with any flavor of ice cream that you fancy.
